What is plax therapy?
Fatty plaque in the vessel wall is composed of several components. In chelation, EDTA targets the calcium and heavy metals in the plaques, whereas plax therapy removes another harmful component: LDL cholesterol. This is done by increasing the capacity of the good HDL cholesterol and transporting excess cholesterol from the vessel wall to the liver, after which it is excreted via the bile ducts.
