Why a facelift?
As we age, our face loses elasticity, making it more prone to sagging, fine lines, wrinkles, etc. Other external influences, such as sun damage or pollution, also leave their mark on our faces, as do genetic factors, stress, drastic weight loss or weight gain, smoking and gravity. Wrinkles are not charming or characteristic for everyone. A facelift can then provide relief to erase traces and smooth out folds, providing a younger look and a better self-image. When combined with other procedures, such as a brow lift or eyelid correction, the effect of a facelift can be further enhanced.
What is a facelift?
A facelift, also known as a rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that rejuvenates the face to achieve a more youthful appearance. A facelift involves a combination of possible customised plastic procedures, such as a forehead lift, mid-facelift and neck lift. In a classic facelift, we make an incision from the front to behind the ear, after which we eliminate excess skin and tighten subcutaneous tissues, such as fat and muscle.
Why a mini facelift?
A mini facelift is ideal for giving the face a freshening up, particularly when the damage is not yet too extensive (often from 45 years of age onwards). This mini facelift is a popular choice because recovery takes less time with shorter scars. There are fewer risks of complications, and the procedure still produces beautiful results for a long period of time.
What is a mini facelift?
A MACS mini-lift (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension) or mini-facelift is a limited facelift with a minimal incision and a different technique from the classic facelift. In a mini facelift, we apply traction wires that suspend the subcutaneous connective tissue upwards (cranial suspension) and lift it together with the skin.

Why a neck correction?
A beautiful neck symbolises beauty and elegance. As we age, the skin of the neck or chin slackens. A rejuvenating neck correction or neck lift can then be considered to correct excess skin with wrinkles or a double chin. The skin of the neck is tightened, giving you a more youthful appearance.
What is a neck lift?
In a neck lift, we smooth the skin of the neck and double chin to restore elasticity. In doing so, we make an incision under the chin and in the hairline. A neck correction is also often combined with a facelift since not only the skin of the neck but also the skin of the face is often sagging and aged.
